Denise gave a fantastic tour! Really enjoyed hearing about the history of not only Jack the Ripper, but of the victims and historic London as well! 10/10 would book again!

It felt like a murder mystery experience and I totally had a blast! If you can, get Denise as your tour guide since she was extremely knowledgeable but was able to tell the story in a tactful way respectful to the victims. It was also amazing to see the contrast between the present and what it would have looked like in Jack the Ripper's time.

Fun and informative. Denise was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and engaging, a great story teller. Also, fun walking through some neighborhoods of Whitechaple we wouldn’t have otherwise visited.

A Tour That Gives Back — Welcome to The Jack the Ripper Tour

Jack the Ripper Tours is part of Side Routes Tours and with over 1,300 five-star reviews, we’re proud to be one of London’s most trusted and highly regarded walking tour experiences.

But this tour is different.

When we set out to create our Jack the Ripper experience, we made a deliberate decision: to tell this story the right way. The autumn of 1888 wasn’t just the backdrop to a mystery, it was the end of real women’s lives. Women who had names, stories, and families. Throughout every step of our tour, we keep them at the heart of the narrative. We explore the history with honesty, curiosity, and deep respect for those who lost their lives during this dark chapter of East London’s past.

We spent considerable time researching, curating, and refining this tour to ensure it does justice to both the history and the humanity behind it. The result is an experience that is gripping, thought-provoking, and genuinely moving.

Giving Back — Our Partnership with Solace Women’s Aid

We believe that telling this story comes with a responsibility to act. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Solace Women’s Aid, a London-based charity providing life-changing support to women and children affected by domestic abuse and violence. A portion of proceeds from every experience goes directly towards their vital work, because remembering the past should also mean doing something about the present.

Who Joins Our Tours?

We’ve welcomed guests from all walks of life — curious travellers, history enthusiasts, and first-time visitors discovering London’s East End for the first time. We’ve hosted school groups keen to bring Victorian history to life, and corporate groups from companies across the globe who wanted something genuinely memorable. Whether you’re booking for two or twenty, we’ll make sure the experience resonates.
